Prohibited Activities The following behaviour is not permitted and could result in immediate removal from the rink: Accessing rink outside of approved operating times, specifically between 11pm and 9am. No Food or drinks allowed on the ice.
No Smoking or loitering on the ice. No hockey sticks or any other sticks on the ice. No skating when deemed unsuitable by the rink staff. No sleds, toboggans, strollers, skating aids or chairs allowed on the ice. No racing, tag, crack-the-whip, obstruction of skaters, profane language or abusive behaviour permitted on the ice. During the winter, Evergreen Brick Works offers free public skating on our rink every weekend from December to March. Notice: Rink Rentals and Skating Birthday Parties are cancelled for the remainder of the skating season.
Looking to rent the Evergreen Brick Works' skating rink for a special event? Lace up your skates and get outside for winter fun! We have seven outdoor skating rink locations that are free to use on a first-come-first-served basis. These skating rinks are flooded as needed during low usage hours. Please stay off the ice while it is being cleaned or cleared of snow.
Skating is prohibited on storm ponds and on the Glenmore Reservoir. Ice in these areas is unstable and dangerous due to rapid changes in water depth.
