A man points a gun at another and we hear a shot and the man shot at allegedly dies offscreen. A man is shot several times in the chest and killed; we see blood flow out onto his shirt. There's a bar fight, in which a man is kicked in the gut, a woman hits a man with a chair, a man gets tossed over a table and a man is hit over the head with a beer bottle.
We see a clothed corpse in a casket. Family comes first and can endure the most difficult hardships. Though "Duets'" characters are forever saying karaoke is a way of life, we never really feel that or see it on screen.
